“Lawrence Falor Suicide Victim

Former Delta Man Found Dead Near His Home in Whitehouse, O., Sunday

Discouraged by ill health, Lawrence Falor, 52, former Delta cattle buyer, ended his life Sunday afternoon at his home in Whitehouse, O. His body was found under a tree near his home, neighbors making the discovery; he had cut his throat with a razor.

Mr. Falor had suffered from asthma many years and the ailment had caused his despondency.

Lucas county’s sheriff was notified and Coroner William Shapiro rendered a verdict of suicide. The body was taken to Schmid mortuary in Waterville.

The deceased, who moved from Delta eight years ago, was the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Joseph Falor of York township. He is survived by two children, Mrs. Luella Ruppel of Toledo and Donald Falor of Flint, Mich.

Mr. Falor also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Burnfield of Liberty Center, Miss Dora Falor of Toledo, Mrs. Cora Taylor and Mrs. Hugh Onweller, both of Wauseon; and five brothers, Elmer and Frank of Delta, Estel and John of Wauseon, and Arthur of Toledo.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 P.O., Wednesday, in Schmid funeral home in Whitehouse. Interment was made in Salsberry cemetery.”

Leland Lenore Falor married Olive Myra Webster, daughter of Joesph Franklin Webster and Hattie Alice Emerson, on 21 November 1930 at San Francisco, San Francisco County, CA, USA. Leland Lenore Falor was buried in April 1953 at Lakeview cemetery, Cheyenne, Laramie County, WY, USA; Section 0337, Lot B, space 0.

     Leonard Falor was a farmer and a Stone Mason.¹ He was born in 1807 at PA, USA. He was the son of John Adam Fehler and Elizabeth "Eve" Beischlein. Leonard Falor married Prudence Alwood on 6 March 1828 at Tuscarawas County, OH, USA. Leonard Falor appeared on the census of 1850 at Summit County, OH, USA. He died in March 1864.¹

     Leroy Falor was born on 20 September 1871. He was the son of Nelson Falor and Mary Ann Salsberry. Leroy Falor appeared on the census of 1880; Census Place: Pike, Fulton, Ohio. Family History Library Film: 1255017, NA Film Number: T9-1017, Page Number: 86B.² He was buried in June 1930 at Salsbery Cemetery, Delta, Fulton County, OH, USA. He died on 1 June 1930 at Pike Township, Fulton County, OH, USA, at age 58.

     Changed his name to LeRoy James.¹ Leroy Albin "James" Falor was born on 27 September 1916 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA.² He was the son of Charles Ellsworth Falor and Beulah Milwood Young.¹ Leroy Albin "James" Falor married Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Lilley on 4 October 1937 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA. Leroy Albin "James" Falor and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Lilley were divorced on 16 May 1946.¹ Leroy Albin "James" Falor married Katherine StClair on 14 February 1948 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA. Leroy Albin "James" Falor and Katherine StClair were divorced on 2 February 1964.¹ Leroy Albin "James" Falor married Florence Wila Fillian on 27 June 1966. Leroy Albin "James" Falor died on 3 December 1998 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA, at age 82.²

     Lester Alan Falor was born on 4 October 1960. He is the son of Lester Burton Falor and Bertha Rose Nash.

     Lester Burton Falor was born on 13 November 1919. He is the son of John Harvey Falor and Ruby Lois Kirkman.¹ Lester Burton Falor married Bertha Rose Nash on 7 June 1941 at Bowling Green, Wood County, OH, USA.

     Lewis Falor was born in 1842 at Coventry Township, Summit County, OH, USA.¹ He was the son of Leonard Falor and Prudence Alwood.¹

     Spent his working years at BF Goodrich.¹ Lewis P. Falor was born on 13 March 1870 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA; Birth Records, vol 1 page 24, Summit County Probate Court, Akron, Ohio.³ He was the son of Ephraim A. Falor and Cora E. Hamlin.² Lewis P. Falor married Ina L. Warley on 24 April 1902 at Summit County, OH, USA.¹
