     Alvern Wayne Falor was born on 30 August 1918 at Brule County, SD, USA.¹ He was the son of Sylvester Falor and Ethel Agnes Briggs.¹ Alvern Wayne Falor married Doris Marie Munger, daughter of William Munger and Rose Lomica, on 5 June 1947. Alvern Wayne Falor died on 3 December 2003 at Kimball, Brule County, SD, USA, at age 85.²

     Amelia J. Falor was born circa 1849.¹ She was the daughter of John Falor and Caroline Wood.¹ Amelia J. Falor appeared on the census of 1850 at Pike Township, Fulton County, OH, USA; as "Faler". Reel NO: M432-681 Page NO: 297B.² As of 29 June 1876 or 30 March 1876,her married name was McCoy.¹ She married George W. McCoy on 29 June 1876 or 30 March 1876 at Summit County, OH, USA.¹

     Amos Falor was born on 18 July 1822.¹ He was the son of Abraham Falor and Mary "Polly" Osborn.¹ Amos Falor was buried in December 1843 at Salsbury Cemetery, Delta, Fulton County, OH, USA; headstone says "Amos son of A and P Falor, d 2 Dec 1843 age 21y 4m 20d."¹ He died on 2 December 1843 at age 21.¹

     Andrew was one of the first settlers of Pike Township. He was one ot the first three judges of election for Pike, and one of the first trustees of Pike. He was a pioneer farmer and four of his sons were also farmers. Indians had occupied the area until just a short time before he settled there.¹ Andrew Falor was born on 26 July 1818 at OH, USA.¹ He was the son of Abraham Falor and Mary "Polly" Osborn.¹ Andrew Falor married Hannah McConkey on 3 September 1840.¹ Andrew Falor appeared on the census of 1850 at Pike Township, Fulton County, OH, USA; listed as "Faler", he was a shoemaker. Reel NO: M432-681 Page NO: 298.² He died in September 1863 at Delta, Fulton County, OH, USA, at age 45.³ He was buried in September 1863 at Salsbury Cemetery, Delta, Fulton County, OH, USA.³

     Andrew Emerson Falor was buried at Mount View Cemetry; Buried with Masonic and Full Military Honors.¹ He married Kazuko Arao.¹ Andrew Emerson Falor was born on 18 April 1918 at Guadalupe City, TX, USA.¹ He was the son of Hiram Claude Falor and Marie Catherine Fortune. Andrew Emerson Falor, 63 of Cave City, Ark. Died Saturday, Nov. 1, at his home.

Born in Seguin, Falor worked as a farmer after retiring from the U.S. Army after serving 22 years, He was a Mason and a member of the Eastern Star No. 545 of Cave City.

Survivors include his wife, Kazuko Arao Falor; a son Emerson Douglas Falor of Hawaii; a daughter, Inez Falor of Cave City; three brothers, Burnie Falor of Leslie, Ark., Allen C. Falor of Seguin and Duehl Falor of Aransas Pass; and two sisters, Janie Mae Riggs of Appleton, Wis. And Barbara Helmke of San Antonio.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Etheridge officiating. Burial was in the Mount View Cemetery with Masonic and full military honors.

Masons served as pallbearers.

in November 1986.¹ Andrew Emerson Falor died on 1 November 1986 at Cave City, Sharp County, AR, USA, at age 68.¹ Andrew divorced L'nora in the late 1940's and after dad died in 1958 they remarried, and later divorced again in early 1960's. He then married Kazuko of Japan and moved to Arkansas after mother died in 1969 and remained there until his death in November 1986.


Andrew’s U S Army SN No was RA 20823150. Andrew spent most of his life in the US Army. He served during World War II. One of his tours of duties includes the Burma drive. I once met someone who served with Andrew and he told of a time in Burma when Andrew shot a crippled mule carrying ammunition, because his supply train with the crippled mule would come under Japanese sniper fire so he killed the mule. They were also penned down for three days and all the ammo on the mule was used in their defense. Andrew was stationed in Japan when the Korean war started and he served at least 18 months in Korea. He was also stationed in Japan when Vietnam started and he was there for a period of time. Andrew never talked about anything he did during the various wars he was in. I saw where he received a bronze star with oak leaf cluster. Notes by Duehl Falor in April 2008.¹
