Mr. Alfred W. Helmke, Sr. born, August 31 1917 in Guadalupe Co. Tx. Passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the age of 88 years. He will be remembered as a loving family man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and rising cattle. Alfred is survived by: wife, Barbara Falor Helmke; sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred W. Helmke, Jr. and Liz and Lloyd Helmke and Janey; daughter and son-in-law Frances Stanley and bill; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will begin Friday, April 8, 2005 at Brookehill Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Brookehill Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park, Service entrusted to Brookehill Funeral Home.
