Andrew Emerson Falor, 63 of Cave City, Ark. Died Saturday, Nov. 1, at his home.

Born in Seguin, Falor worked as a farmer after retiring from the U.S. Army after serving 22 years, He was a Mason and a member of the Eastern Star No. 545 of Cave City.

Survivors include his wife, Kazuko Arao Falor; a son Emerson Douglas Falor of Hawaii; a daughter, Inez Falor of Cave City; three brothers, Burnie Falor of Leslie, Ark., Allen C. Falor of Seguin and Duehl Falor of Aransas Pass; and two sisters, Janie Mae Riggs of Appleton, Wis. And Barbara Helmke of San Antonio.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Etheridge officiating. Burial was in the Mount View Cemetery with Masonic and full military honors.

Masons served as pallbearers.

in November 1986.¹ Andrew Emerson Falor died on 1 November 1986 at Cave City, Sharp County, AR, USA, at age 68.¹ Andrew divorced L?nora in the late 1940's and after dad died in 1958 they remarried, and later divorced again in early 1960's. He then married Kazuko of Japan and moved to Arkansas after mother died in 1969 and remained there until his death in November 1986.


Andrew’s U S Army SN No was RA 20823150. Andrew spent most of his life in the US Army. He served during World War II. One of his tours of duties includes the Burma drive. I once met someone who served with Andrew and he told of a time in Burma when Andrew shot a crippled mule carrying ammunition, because his supply train with the crippled mule would come under Japanese sniper fire so he killed the mule. They were also penned down for three days and all the ammo on the mule was used in their defense. Andrew was stationed in Japan when the Korean war started and he served at least 18 months in Korea. He was also stationed in Japan when Vietnam started and he was there for a period of time. Andrew never talked about anything he did during the various wars he was in. I saw where he received a bronze star with oak leaf cluster. Notes by Duehl Falor in April 2008.¹

     Had a farm in Clayton Michigan with Maple Groves and sold Maple syrup. Agie was a school teacher and died at her sisters (Eliza (Falor) Bolander) in Toledo Ohio.² Her married name was Smith.² Angeline Falor was buried at Dover Center Cemetery, Clayton, Lenawee County, MI, USA.² She married George Smith.² Angeline Falor was born on 31 August 1843 at Pike Township, Fulton County, OH, USA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Andrew Falor and Hannah McConkey.¹ Angeline Falor appeared on the census of 1850; as "Faler". Census State: OH County: Fulton Division: Pike Reel NO: M432-681 Page NO: 298.³ She appeared on the census of 1880; Census Place: Pike, Fulton, Ohio.      Anna Falor was born in 1864.¹ She was the daughter of John Falor and Caroline Wood.¹

     Anna Maud Falor was born on 17 October 1878 at Massillon, Stark County, OH, USA.² She was the daughter of Henry Clay Falor and Josephine Brico Thomas.¹ Anna Maud Falor died on 5 November 1878 at Massillon, Stark County, OH, USA, at age 0.²

     Archie Lloyd Falor was born on 15 March 1925 at Gratiot County, MI, USA. He was the son of Cornelius Sylvester Falor and Edna Violet Falor. Archie Lloyd Falor was buried circa 1945 at East Plains Cemetery, Between Hubbardston and Pewamo, Clinton County, MI, USA. He died on 1 March 1945 at Germany at age 19.

     Archie Milton Falor was born on 10 June 1942 at Eagle, Clinton County, MI, USA. He is the son of Merlin Dewain "Hank" Falor and Georgia Mabel Bush. Archie Milton Falor married Donna Ferris on 28 December 1959 at Lansing, Ingham County, MI, USA.

     Arlene Falor died at Breckenridge, Gratiot County, MI, USA. Her married name was Adams. She married Charles Adams. Arlene Falor was born on 7 July 1905. She was the daughter of Clinton G. Falor.

     Arnold Falor was born in 1909.² He is the son of Franklin Falor and Pearl Snow.

“Obituary

Arthur Falor, son of Joseph and Mary Matilda Falor, was born in York Township, Fulton County, near Delta, Ohio, Dec. 24^th 1878 and departed this life in Toledo, Nov. 30, 1943, at the age of 64 years, 11 moths, 6 days. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, three brothers and two sisters.
     He leaves to mourn his departure, three brothers and four sisters, Elmer Falor of Delta, Dora Falor of Toledo, Mrs. Henry Taylor, Mrs. Ed Cameron, Mrs. Hugh Onweller, John Falor and Estell Falor, all of Wauseon, and many other relatives and friends.
     He accepted Christ as his Savior in early manhood and found much joy in his service. Along the uneven journey through life he met with many disappointments, and at times life seemed hard until God in His great love and mercy said “It is enough.” May God’s will be done for our loss in His gain.
With longing hearts we think of those who’re gone before to rest, They now have found a sweet release In mansions of the blest.
     Funeral services were held at Penrod Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon at two o’clock with Rev. C. J. Ludwick officiating. Burial at Salsbury Cemetery.
