     Clarance Falor died in 1881.¹ He was born in 1881.¹ He was the son of Milton E. Falor and Clara Jane Hake.¹

     Clare C. Falor lived most of his life in the Fowler area. He farmed all of his life and was a Fowler Public School bus driver for 17 years and the sexton for the East Plains Cemetery for over 30 years. Clare married Lena J. Dalton January 23, 1932 in Maple Rapids and she preceded him in death on May 14, 1998.¹ Clare Cecil Falor was born on 4 August 1910 at Harrison, Clare County, MI, USA.¹ He was the son of Cornelius Sylvester Falor and Edna Violet Falor. Clare Cecil Falor married Lena J Dalton on 23 January 1932 at Maple Rapids, Clinton County, MI, USA.¹ Clare Cecil Falor died on 3 September 2002 at Fowler, Clinton County, MI, USA, at age 92.^2,1 He was buried on 7 September 2002 at East Plains Cemetery, Between Hubbardston and Pewamo, Clinton County, MI, USA.¹

Alert to his opportunities, Clarence E. Falor has risen from a minor position to one of broad influence and usefulness and is well known in industrial circles of northeastern Ohio as a dominant factor in the management of the business of the Marathon Rubber Company, Inc., of Cuyahoga Falls. He was born in Akron, November 6, 1880, a son of Oliver P. and Adelia (Wademan) Falor, who were also natives of Ohio. In 1849 the father went to California by the way of the Isthmus of Panama and spent several years in the gold fields of that state, meeting with a fair measure of success. He returned to Ohio by the overland route and embarked in merchandising in Akron, where he spent the remainder of his life. He attained the advanced age of ninety years and long survived his wife, who died when comparatively young. They had six children, three of whom survive: Shelby A., Oliver F. and Clarence E.

     The last named completed his education in the Central High School of Akron and obtained his start in life as a Western Union messenger, afterward learning photography. For some time he was in the employ of the B.F. Goodrich Company and then became a commercial photographer. He engaged in that business for two years, traveling throughout the country, and at the outbreak of the Spanish-American war in 1898 his patriotic spirit prompted him to offer his aid to his country. Mr. Falor joined the Eighth Ohio, “McKinley’s Own” regiment, which he served until the close of the conflict, and his was the only volunteer unit on the island of Cuba. After receiving his honorable discharge he reentered the employ of the B.F. Goodrich Company and subsequently was with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, the period of his service with these corporations covering three years. He then went to Los Angeles, California. Being unable to find a business opening in that city, he returned to the east and for three years was a flagman for the Pennsylvania Railroad. In 1904 he became an employee of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and was advanced through the various departments as he demonstrated his worth. For twenty-one years he faithfully and efficiently served the corporation in the production department, where he held several major positions, and in 1925 became vice president and general manager of the Marathon Rubber Company, Inc. He has charge of the production end of the business, rendering to the firm the services of an expert, and during his tenure of office the industry has made notable progress.

     In May, 1907, Mr. Falor was married in Medina, Ohio, to Miss Edith E. Bassett, a native of Wadsworth, this state, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bassett. Mr. and Mrs. Falor have two children: Lucille W., who was born in Akron, completed her studies in the East high school: and Robert E. who was born in Akron, April 7, 1910, is attending the Culver Military Academy at Culver, Indiana.

     Mr. Falor is identified with both the York and Scottish Rite bodies of Masons and has attained the thirty-second degree. He is second vice president and a director of the Cuyahoga Falls Camber of Commerce and a member of the City Club of Akron, the Kiwanis Club and the Silver Lake Country Club. From an early age his life has been one of unabating industry, and his prosperity is well deserved. By nature he is modest and unassuming but time has proven his worth and enjoys to the fullest extent the respect and confidence of his fellowmen. Mr. Falor’s residence is on the Canton Road.“

Bassett, daughter of William Bassett, on 8 May 1906 at Medina, Medina County, OH, USA; Marriage License J:151, G.W. Huddlestone, Medina County, OH.^4,2 Clarence Earl Falor and Edith E. Bassett were divorced in 1946.¹ Clarence Earl Falor was buried in December 1970 at Woodlawn Cemetery, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, FL, USA; Plot: Block 30, Lot 17 (N. 1/2) (South Section). He died in December 1970 at West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, FL, USA, at age 89.⁵

     Clarissa Falor was a house keeper. She was born on 3 April 1832 at OH, USA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abraham Falor and Mary "Polly" Osborn.¹ Clarissa Falor appeared on the census of 1880; Census Place: Coventry, Summit, Ohio. Family History Library Film: 1255069, NA Film Number: T9-1069, Page Number: 109A.³ She was buried in February 1897 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, OH, USA.² She died on 24 February 1897 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA, at age 64.¹

     Her married name was Johnson. Clarissa Bell Falor married Jim "James" B. Johnson. Clarissa Bell Falor was born on 2 December 1888 at Arcata, Humboldt County, CA, USA. She was the daughter of Albert Allen Falor and Arrabelle Warren Hazelwood.¹ Clarissa Bell Falor died in 1970 at Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, CA, USA. She was buried on 22 January 1970 at Greenwood Cemetery, Arcata, Humboldt County, CA, USA.²

     Was born on a farm near Delta. He had no children and owned a carpet store in Toldeo Ohio.¹
Clement E. Falor was born on 23 November 1879 at Delta, Fulton County, OH, USA. She was the daughter of George A. Falor and Lavina Murry.¹ Clement E. Falor died in February 1940 at age 60.

     Clinton F. Falor was born on 10 October 1857 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA.² He was the son of Moses Falor and Hanna H. Wilson.¹ Clinton F. Falor married Isabel "Belle" Kintz, daughter of Samuel Kintz, on 18 July 1880 at Summit County, OH, USA.² Clinton F. Falor was buried in January 1938 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, OH, USA.¹ He died on 1 January 1938 at Akron, Summit County, OH, USA, at age 80.³
